John Akiti – CEO/ Business Development Director. John began his working career with Societe Generale Bank (Nigeria) Limited, where he spent five years working in various branches and units within the bank including operations, retail & commercial banking, treasury and investment banking unit where he headed the foreign currency desk before he resigned. He later worked with Nationwide Building Society in the UK for five years, occupying roles in both the branch and retail network as customer consultant, account manager and mortgage adviser upon obtaining his certificate in mortgage advice and practice (CeMAP). He was also a pioneer staff member of the banks multi-million pound flagship Leeds branch when it was launched in 2009. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in Nigeria, and a master’s degree in International Business & Management from the Bradford University School of Management in the UK. He has attended numerous seminars and workshops during the course of his career.

Ekanem Archibong-Akiti – Finance Director. Ekanem began her career with BGL Nigeria Limited as an executive assistant and pioneer staff of the company’s Abuja branch, a position which she held before resigning to further her education in the UK. She began her corporate career in the UK as the finance manager of Partnership Investment Finance (PIF), the loan and investment fund set up by the UK and EU government agencies to enable small and medium sized businesses and social enterprises within the Yorkshire and Humber region gain access to gap funding by way of equity or loan finance. She currently holds the position of finance manager with Finance Yorkshire, an initiative by the European Regional Development Fund and Yorkshire Forward, specifically set up to help small and medium sized businesses based within the Yorkshire region meet the gaps in the market for the funding they need for growth and development. Ekanem holds a second class upper Bachelor of Science degree in accountancy from the University of Calabar in Nigeria, and a distinction in her master’s degree in Finance, Accounting and Management from the Bradford University School of Management.
